Umayyad, Abbasid and early Saudi coinage, each lot graded and photographed at 40x.
The Story
“Nine coins, nine mints, one trade route.”
01Origin & making
Hijaz, Saudi Arabia, Mid 20th century. Struck from hand-cut dies on a hammered flan, each strike slightly its own. Materials: Gold and silver alloy.
02The life of the object
Assembled deliberately to show the spread of a single decade's issues. Each coin is graded and sleeved, and the group has never been cleaned — the grey cabinet tone is original.
03The journey to Arajiz
Formed 1998–2004 by one collector; sold intact. Offered through Qasr Numismatics in Dammam. Our specialists examined material, tooling marks and repair history, and a full condition report accompanies the lot.
